About
Anusha Veluswamy
is an author for adults and children. She loves to paint her stories with the colours from her childhood and represent the stories, flavours, and the soul of Southern India.
She holds a master’s degree in architecture. She is also a member of SCBWI, and the Council of Architecture.She was awarded the REX Karmaveer global fellowship for young leaders instituted by iCongo in partnership with the United Nations and the Rex Karmaveer Bronze Award in 2018 and the Woman Lit of the year award in 2021 by Inspire beyond Motherhood annual awards.
When she is not writing stories, Anusha Veluswamy runs her architectural practice where she fulfils her Lego dreams in concrete-scapes, finds joy in teaching design, and being book-drunk. Writing & motherhood are equal to therapy for her.
She lives in Hyderabad with her husband, 2 boys, and her 13-year-old dachshund - Sunshine.
