When I was somewhere in the second or third story of this collection of short stories I had a feeling that I may not like this collection,perhaps even discontinue reading it altogether.I can't really be sure when the writer took over and I was loosing myself in his interpretation of love.
As he showcased one minimalist love story after another I was trapped amidst the sad glory of love.
Somewhere towards the end of the book,I began to even feel a wee bit of seperation anxiety.I did not want to stop listening to his stories.
A marvelous collection of intimate, minimalistic and terribly sad stories.
The stories are so sad,they almost choke a laugh out of you.
Highly recommend this collection if you love to read about love or read shorts.It is from the master of short stories himself - Raymond Carver
